Connect your Robinson Empire account with Shopify to streamline your operations.

What is Shopify Integration?

Shopify integration allows you to:

  • Sync products between platforms
  • Import orders from Shopify
  • Manage inventory across both platforms
  • Streamline fulfillment

Integration Levels by Plan

Vendor Plans:

Setting Up Integration

Step 1: Connect Your Shopify Store

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click "Connect Shopify"
  3. Enter your Shopify store URL
  4. Log into Shopify and authorize connection

Step 2: Configure Sync Settings

Choose what to sync:
  • Products
  • Orders
  • Inventory
  • Customers

Step 3: Map Data Fields

Ensure data maps correctly:
  • Product categories
  • Inventory locations
  • Shipping settings
  • Tax settings

1-Way Import (Silver Plan)

What Syncs:

  • Products from Shopify to Robinson Empire
  • Product images
  • Descriptions
  • Pricing

What Doesn't Sync:

  • Inventory updates back to Shopify
  • Orders from Robinson Empire to Shopify
  • Customer data

Use Case:

Import your existing Shopify catalog to quickly list products on Robinson Empire.

Full 2-Way Sync (Gold Plan)

What Syncs:

  • Products: Both directions
  • Inventory: Real-time updates
  • Orders: Import from Shopify, fulfill from either platform
  • Customers: Shared customer data

Benefits:

  • Single inventory count across platforms
  • Unified order management
  • Consistent customer experience
  • Reduced manual work

Managing Inventory Sync

Sync Options:

  • Real-time: Instant updates (recommended)
  • Scheduled: Updates every X minutes
  • Manual: Update on demand

Conflict Resolution:

When inventory differs:
  • Use Robinson Empire as master
  • Use Shopify as master
  • Use most recent update

Order Fulfillment

Orders from Shopify:

  • Appear in your Robinson Empire dashboard
  • Fulfill through Robinson Empire
  • Tracking syncs back to Shopify

Orders from Robinson Empire:

  • Sync to Shopify (Gold plan)
  • Unified fulfillment process
  • Consistent customer communication

Troubleshooting

Common Issues:

Products not syncing:

  • Check API connection
  • Verify product meets requirements
  • Check error logs

Inventory discrepancies:

  • Force manual sync
  • Check sync settings
  • Verify master system setting

Orders not importing:

  • Check order status filters
  • Verify payment received
  • Check Shopify webhook status

Disconnecting

To disconnect:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click "Disconnect Shopify"
  3. Choose to keep or remove imported data
  4. Confirm disconnection
