Two-Factor Authentication
Secure your account with two-factor authentication for enhanced protection.
What is 2FA?
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring:
- Something you know (your password)
- Something you have (your phone or authenticator app)
Setting Up 2FA

- Go to Account Settings > Security
- Click "Enable 2FA"
- Choose "Authenticator App"
- Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar app
- Enter the 6-digit code to verify
- Save backup codes in a secure location
Method 2: SMS/Text Message
- Go to Account Settings > Security
- Click "Enable 2FA"
- Choose "SMS"
- Enter your phone number
- Enter the verification code sent to your phone
- Save backup codes
Using 2FA at Login
After enabling 2FA, you will:
- Enter your email and password
- Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app or SMS
- Click "Verify" to access your account
Backup Codes
- Generated when you set up 2FA
- Use these if you lose access to your 2FA device
- Each code can only be used once
- Store them securely (not on your phone)
Disabling 2FA
- Go to Account Settings > Security
- Click "Disable 2FA"
- Confirm with your password
- Note: This reduces your account security
